Wilson 5th Graders welcomed McAllen ISD Science Coordinator, Mrs. Beltran, into their classroom on Friday. Mrs. Beltran modeled an engaging science lesson about circuits. We thank her for sharing her expertise with our campus!

Due to inclement weather that is in the forecast for this afternoon, today’s McAllen Kids Marathon Kickoff Mile celebration will not take place. Participating students will still run their miles at their campus this fall and participate in the Kids Marathon Final Mile in January, 2025.
We had an amazing morning with the McAllen High School Volleyball team! Players came to fist bump our Warriors as they came to school. Thank you for welcoming our students to campus this morning!

TRICK-OR-TREAT!
We will be welcoming our Warrior Families to campus, October 25th from 5-6:30 pm. Wear your costume and Trick-or-Treat at school! Please consider donating candy for the event. Donations can be dropped off at the front office now until October 24th. Thank you!
On Wednesday, Warriors Wear Pink!
Our Warriors showed up in PINK today to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer. Every Wednesday this month, wear pink!
Our incredible Custodial Team! These ladies work diligently to take care of our campus and keep our building safe and clean. Thank you for your hard work! We appreciate our custodians Maria Carranza, Dora Camarillo, Yvonne Villarreal and not shown, Maximina De La Rosa.

By selling popcorn and turning in the material to her teacher, one of the Mystery at Sunny Hill characters she received was the magnifying glass! Finding the magnifying glass means he wins automatic access to the VIP Limo ride and Party.
There is 1 magnifying glass left at Wilson- keep selling popcorn to try and find it! Money and forms are due on October 10th!
Today is Custodian Day! Thank you to our hard working custodial team, you appreciate everything you do for our school!
Last Friday we had our Outstanding Warrior Celebration! The students who attended met their AR goal, had perfect attendance, made A Honor Roll or were acknowledged as a Winning Warrior. These Warriors earned extra recess fun on Friday afternoon. Keep up the great work!
Warrior of the Month is awarded to a student who consistently follows all school rules in the restroom, hallways, cafeteria, classroom, and gym.
