📚🎉 Happy National Library Week! 🎉📚 This year’s theme is “Drawn to the Library”—a perfect tribute to the colorful world of graphic novels, art, and the magic of storytelling in all its forms! 💡 Fun Library Fact: Did you know the Library of Congress is the largest library in the world, with more than 170 million items? That’s a lot of stories waiting to be discovered! 💥 Graphic Novel Spotlight: Graphic novels aren’t just for kids! From memoirs to mysteries, they cover every genre imaginable. In fact, graphic novels boost comprehension and engagement, especially for visual learners! Congratulations to our AMAZING Lady Falcons. These young ladies gave it their all these past two days. They were exhausted today but still pushed through. We are so very proud of each and every one of them.

🚨 Testing Week is here, Falcons! 🚨 This upcoming week is crucial for all of our students at Fossum MS, and we need EVERY Falcon to be ready to soar! 🦅 ✨ RLA STAAR is this Wednesday, and it’s SUPER IMPORTANT that all students are present, not just Wednesday, but in the days leading up to it as well. The last few days of review and test-taking strategies are essential for success! 📱 Tuesday will be a Tech Check day to ensure everything is set for the test, and ALL after-school activities are canceled so that everyone can get home and rest up for the big day ahead. We know you are ready for this! Our amazing RLA teachers have been going above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to shine ✨ it’s going to be a great week, Falcons!

🏆 Fossum MS 6th Grade Elevate Softball Showdown! 🦅 What a game! The Maroon team faced off against the Black team in an exciting softball match, and the Black team came out on top! Great job to all the players for their hard work and sportsmanship.

🦅 Falcon Clean-Up Day! 🌿 Join us on April 12th from 8-10 AM at Fossum for a morning of giving back to our community! This is a volunteer hours opportunity, and we need all hands on deck! ✅ Trash bags & gloves provided (first come, first serve) ✅ Parents can bring shovels & other clean-up tools ✅ FREE food from 10 AM - 12 PM @ Municipal Park as a thank-you! Let’s show our Falcon pride and keep our community clean! If you’re interested in volunteering, contact a Student Council member or the school office.
