Ms. Lozano, Mrs. Zepeda, Mr. Gutierrez

Special Education 

My name is Judith Y. Lozano. I am currently a special education teacher at Wilson Elementary. I have been in the field of education for 20 plus years. I graduated from Harlingen High School in 1985 and the University of North Texas in 1992. I worked in the social service field for 5 years prior to entering the field of education. I have worked in HCISD, ECISD, and MISD. I have two daughters Alyssa 21 and Andrea 18 both MISD graduates and both currently attending college. I am blessed to work with some of the most wonderful children at Wilson elementary who remind me every day why I choose to go into the field of Special Education. I am grateful for the two staff members who work alongside with me daily; Mr. Gutierrez and Mrs. Zepeda. We make a wonderful team and we all enjoy our work with our student.Mr. Gutierrez joined our special education team in October 2017. He graduated from Edinburg High School in 2005. He previously worked for the city of Mcallen for 12 Years.Mrs. Zepeda has been working in the special education department here at Wilson elementary since 2012. She graduated from PSJA HS in 1976. She began her education career as a parent volunteer here at Wilson elementary and then went on to be a substitute teacher in MISD for 10 plus years.
