That makes McAllen ISD one of the first school districts in the country to post curriculum on this electronic format that, until now, has always been reserved strictly for universities. One of the first series that has been posted is an award-winning conversational Spanish TV series that features McAllen ISD students, ?Platiquemos? Stories on KGBT Channel 4, KVEO Channel 23, McAllen Cable Network, The Monitor.

Raquel Pequeño
Each year, Racquel and her sisters raise money and walk in support of March of Dimes. She was born healthy despite a placenta abruption. Her brother, a year before her, suffered the same condition but did not survive. March of Dimes supports research and programs that help babies in our community and around the country that help moms have healthier pregnancies and babies start healthy lives. Please join Racquel and countless others in supporting this cause.
